The performers wear authentic traditional costumes passed down through generations, preserving the clothing traditions of their grandparents.
Each garment is made from handmade textiles woven on a home loom, using natural materials such as wool, cotton, and silk. All decorations are also handcrafted from materials available in the household, featuring rich embroidery, crochet lace, and beautifully intertwined patterns.
Different costumes are worn for specific holidays, seasons, and festive occasions, each carrying its own symbolism and purpose.
Among them, the most exquisite is the Lazarus Day costume—the signature stage attire of the Bisserov Sisters. It is distinguished by its white cotton base, enriched with vibrant, colorful embroidery that showcases the artistry of traditional craftsmanship.
